Turns out I love to research….

Excellent news! I aced my final research project for my Practical Herbalist certificate! It was such an amazing learning experience and not only did I learn a lot about my chosen herb, but I successfully wrote a scientifically sound plant monograph, applied critical thinking skills and pulled together the information into a super useful resource; sifting through hundreds of books, articles, websites, scientific journals and research studies!

Turns out, I love research. I found it satisfying on so many levels. It might be the plant nerd in me, but I am proud to be one! So, who knows. Maybe there will be more in the future. Clinical herbalists use these skills everyday, and keeping up on latest research is a large part of offering relevant, supportive and effective suggestions for their clients.
